BUILT TO SAVE™ is a voluntary energy efficiency certification program that identifies high performance homes that meet its strict requirements and have an ERI score of 63 or lower or are at least 5 or 10% more energy efficient than minimum code.

BUILDERS

Builders must register with the BUILT TO SAVE™ Program and renew its membership annually. At least one home must be certified in the BUILT TO SAVE™ program yearly to continue being listed as a BUILT TO SAVE™ builder and other marketing competitive advantages.

SUPPLIERS

BUILT TO SAVE™ suppliers are construction industry professionals & vendors of products and services for new homes that support and promote energy efficiency. These companies help homeowners save money on utilities.
